In/Exhale Continues

Thank you guys once again for your comments. It's nice to know I have a small, but loyal group of readers who enjoy my crazy little saga. :)

This week is the first part of a three-part day that largely focuses on Jon, Kai, and David and has some events that step up for things that will happen a bit later in the season. But don't worry. Renee returns big time for the following day (February 2), when things begin to come to a head for our two lovebirds.

Previously on In/Exhale: Kai tells Renee about his hearing loss. Jon comforts Kai when he wakes up confused at Vicky's house, then consoles him over pie. Last season, while waiting to see Dr. Johnsen, Kai runs into a young patient of Jon's and offers to answer any questions the kid might have about living with FS.

This week on In/Exhale: Jon makes a decision that affects his relationship with Kai. Kai and Steve spend some time together. Vicky has her mid-pregnancy ultrasound and she and Jon learn the sex of their baby. Kai visits a beloved character from last season.

Next week on In/Exhale: David goes for an important job interview, but an unexpected complication arises that throws a wrench in his plans. Kai reveals things about his past that he normally never talks about.

February 1, 2001 - Part I

I've updated the Table of Contents, as always. If you'd like to refresh your memory on the two episodes in which we see the character who makes a reappearance at the end of this episode, you can check them out here: October 31, 2000 - Part II, November 2, 2000.

Oh, and I just wanted to add that the events that happen at the beginning of this episode are inspired by real experiences I've heard from the Deaf community. I know a lot of you are always asking about how much of I/E is based on reality and how much is totally fiction. :)

Thanks again and I'll see you next week!
