Happy Thanksgiving, Canadians!
Previously On In/Exhale: Kai has been struggling with his PTSD and depression, especially his suicidal thoughts. He's turned to Renee more than once, and they've gotten closer, but the fact that he plans to visit the new psych hospital hovers over both of them. After a crisis, Martin ends up back in the hospital where he gets the bad news that his heart is failing. Although Jon reassures Inez that it may actually be a way for Martin to get on the transplant list sooner, he makes her promise not to tell Martin until it's a sure thing.
This Week on In/Exhale: Kai experiences his interpreters in his psych class for the first time and spends some time with Steve, but they're interrupted by a distressed call from Martin.
Next Week on In/Exhale: Kai puts all his selfish problems on hold to be there for Martin. However, it forces him to cross tracks with a significant person from his past, which pushes Kai's precarious mood to the brink.
So I've decided that I WILL go ahead and post my other story (the one with the blind character) here. Probably on... I think it was Thursdays that are free? Anyway, one of the weekdays that's free. Not sure when I'll start because I've decided to use this opportunity to start fresh and change the time from summer to winter, and I haven't had a chance to work on it other than jotting down some ideas. And next week I'll be going to Mayo (to consult with an expert on my type of headache), so there will be an episode of I/E but I may not have one for the following Monday. I'll have to see how everything goes.
Thanks for your support!
Oh, and last week I accidentally forgot to update the Table of Contents and previous posts for easier navigation. It's been fixed.
PS - Remember, if you've forgotten what Kai and his pals got up to in the first part of Season 3, you can read the "Previously On..." to refresh your memory. Or you can hit the updated Table of Contents to re-read any episode. Also keep in mind that I'm posting each complete chapter (day) on my blog once it's all posted here, so you can read them in their entirety if you prefer that format. I also accept comments (including anonymous ones) there if you prefer. Happy reading!
