Hey, everyone! I hope you all are doing well and aren't too depressed about the election.
I'll be honest with you and say it's been really hard for me, writing wise, lately. I may end up skipping a week here and there so I can make sure I get you the best episodes I can. I know what happens, I've just been stuck at certain points along the way where the writing just won't flow the way it should.
But I'm going to try my best not to interrupt the story as much as possible!
Now onto the good stuff...
Previously On In/Exhale: Kai's battle with his mental illness is taking his toll, so he and Jon journey to Omaha to visit a hospital there. Kai is still reeling from Friday night, where he wandered off and blacked out. He's uncertain if he called Nikki, and he's afraid of hurting Renee. Renee, deeply in love, is terrified of losing Kai, but she's also afraid of being apart if he does go into the hospital again. But she's worried if she is honest with Kai, it'll push him away. Diane tries to help her through her guilt and fears as best she can. Jon, meanwhile, is starting to crumble under the stress of dealing with all of Kai's problems on top of his own.
This Week on In/Exhale: Kai and Jon finally arrive at Harbinger. It's not at all what Kai or Jon had expected based on previous experience, but Kai's natural cynicism makes him wary. Meanwhile, David attends a Deaf Club meeting, hoping to find contacts that could lead to a job. Dr. Miller arrives at County House for her meeting with Ms. Evans, and is surprised by what she sees.
Next Week on In/Exhale: Kai's tour of Harbinger continues, and he finally meets the head of the facility. Dr. Miller begins her perusal of Kai's files, learning some surprising and disheartening things about Kai's past.
Don't forget I'm also posting another story about a blind man with CP! It's my take on NaNoWriMo for this year. Check out the first episode here, if you haven't already!
PS - Remember, if you've forgotten what Kai and his pals got up to in the first part of Season 3, you can read the "Previously On..." to refresh your memory. Or you can hit the updated Table of Contents to re-read any episode. Also keep in mind that I'm posting each complete chapter (day) on my blog once it's all posted here, so you can read them in their entirety if you prefer that format. I also accept comments (including anonymous ones) there if you prefer. Happy reading!
