Hello readers,
Thursday again and I'm back with another chapter of my new story. First off I want to thank the readers who commented, it really means a lot to me.
I must admit I was hoping for more people to give me feedback since this was a first chapter of a brand new story and I am still nervous about it. Because the story is different for me in its POV, the characters, the setting, a mixture of reality, fiction, and fantasy and everything else, I would have liked to see what people actually think. I keep thinking "Oh God, I hope this will go over well"... I try to focus on the number of "hits" and just hope people like what they are reading but it's difficult with the "invisibility"...
I don't know about other writers, but putting a story on here takes courage for me, I'm nervous every week when I finally feel the chapter is ready and I dread overseeing mistakes or something in the story line that would be dumb. I sometimes reread and edit even after I post.
My last story was strange too with the whole nightly ordeals that my character went through and I was always worried that the story was too out there. I feel the same with this one and I sure hope "it will go over well." I wish I would have more confidence but I just don't have it. At the same time I want to share my writing with people who "get" it.
Anyways, enough about my insecurities. I really and truly hope you do like what you are reading and don't feel that it's dumb. I'm assuming the one's who read but don't comment still like it. Thank you for taking the time and for your interest.
I give you a somewhat lengthy
Chapter 2 of New Beginnings and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading.
Hugs, Dani
