Hello, all -
Somewhat embarrassedly, I return! It's been well over a year since I last posted - in 2018, I got overwhelmed with both professional and personal events (luckily mostly positive ones). I am very touched and a little flustered that people even posted comments in the meantime asking when Shadowboxing would continue. As always, cheers to everyone who hangs out here, and to Lee & DG for hosting the blog.
Next Wednesday, I'll pick back up with Chapter 14. There are only a few chapters left, but they're long, so I'll post some in parts so as to spread things out.
If you'd like to catch up on what came before... Shadowboxing is a moody, slice-of-life-y gay romance featuring Asher, a sensitive soul who has cerebral palsy, and Roy, a loner with a stutter:

While I was previously agonizing over finishing Shadowboxing, I posted "The Nerve Interpreter," a 3-part short story also featuring a protagonist with CP. It's likewise moody and romantic in tone, though not an outright romance; the story focuses more on the protagonist's relationship with his disability, and on an imagined (science fictional) assistive technology. You can check that out here:

Thank you again for all the support. See you next week!
