Please! I need help! I can't find the old stories. Only the titles. My English isnt good. Sometimes I need a google translator because I speak spanish but I really enjoyed The stories for years. What can I do? It's very important for me!

ReplyDeleteDon't worry, we didn't delete any stories. They are still there. Please access them through http://stories.paradevo.net/p/stories-archive.html. It should work now. But: all links on the old blog don't work anymore. So try to access the stories from this new blog, for now.

DeletePlease use the Stories Archive to access stories by title and then scroll down and, for stories with many chapters, click on "older posts" or the right arrow to view all chapters. This should work in 99% of all cases. For example chapter 28 of For the love of not walking can be found this way.
DeleteIf you'd like a workaround, you can simply replace "stories.paradevo.net" with "paradevostories.blogspot.com" in a broken URL.
Please give us some time to work out the kinks. You will be able to access all stories without problems via table of contents again in a few weeks.

DeleteThe archive is working and all the stories are there, but the Table of Contents for many of the stories have broken links. This will have to be fixed manually, and will take some time. We encourage authors to check their TOCs and fix their stories. If you are a reader, you can access the stories by scrolling through rather than clicking the TOC links.

Hi there, first off...thanks to all the moderators for their work with this migration process. It seems that is was a very complicated task. I am glad you guys did this.
ReplyDeleteAs for the stories, I tried to access mine and even though the chapter links don't work as Nat mentioned above, the chapters all show up underneath as devogirl explains above. So, it all looks good.
I am not sure I know how to fix the links, I don't want to mess anything up. I will just leave it as it is for now.
Were you able to see the chapters, Nat?

First of all, I want to clarify that English is not my language, so sometimes I don't know how to express myself, but I love all stories. A couple of times I have commented as anonymous but I have enjoyed the stories for years.

Nat, I am glad it works for some chapters. I will also look at the old links again as devogirl suggested for all authors. And you can also get a few of my stories through Amazon for Kindle. You will find me as Dani Deveaux. I am getting "Three's a Crowd" finished up right now and hope to publish next week. Best wishes!

ReplyDeleteOh no, I'm sorry! Paradevo.net is such an old domain that it's really hard to access, and Lee has said he won't be updating it. However, I did update the link at the top of the PD message board. That was also misdirecting, so thanks for alerting us. I recommend using the message board link or creating a bookmark for the new site.
