DeleteI’ve enjoyed it so far (almost an hour in) but my one issue can be summed up with two words… (semi-spoiler??) ice skates 🤦🏻♀️ however, I’m still thrilled to see this story brought to life!
ReplyDeleteOMG I thought the same. Really enjoyed the movie but that is the one part I went hmmm.. ice skates?!?... overall great to see one of my favorite books by Annabelle turned into a movie.. Congrats.
DeleteI was totally cracking up at the ice skating. And then the explanation: "It uses different muscles." Oh yea, the well-known ice skating muscles! My husband was joking that it would be funny if at the conclusion, he realized he could ditch the cane and just roller blade everywhere. Problem solved!
DeleteAh yes, the ultimate Christmas miracle. Noelle has the sudden inspiration in the sports store as she buys a new soccer ball as a part of her son’s Christmas present. She sprints to the roller blades and immediately buys them (instinctively knowing the right size). Cut to Christmas morning as presents are unwrapped and tears abound as everyone realizes that the magic ice skating muscles can now be put to everyday use! The next present opened is a pair of boxing gloves, but unfortunately the boxing muscles are not a separate magic muscle group, so that idea falls a bit flat, but no worries because ROLLER BLADES!!! 😆 (Lu5)
