Hello lovely people,
Chapter 8 has arrived!
To everyone who's still here: Thank you! Lost quite a few readers with Chapter 5, which is totally fine and was to be expected, because not everyone is into the medical crisis thing.
All the more grateful I am for all of you who are still reading and commenting! ♡
Happy Friday!
xoxo, Merigold

Chapter 5: Selecting Qualified Readers. I believe that medical crises are important to Seth's confidence in Kay and his new life. Feel free to introduce these moments in future chapters.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lilly!
DeleteYes, absolutely, it's part of Seth as a character. Sure, I could have made him an exceptionally lucky high-level quad with no health issues whatsoever. Or I could have just glossed over them.
For a lot of (dev) readers, health issues don't belong in to romance stories, because they take away from the feel good factor. Well, unfortunately I'm the type of writer that's really bad at feel good, lol.
But that's just me – I'm simply unable to write about disability without addressing everything that belongs to it.
So, yeah... it certainly won't end here.
