Hi, everyone! I'm popping in with a little Free Friday one-off. :) One-off's (and recycled ones at that...) seem to be all I have time for these days... I hope you enjoy it anyway!
I wrote this many years ago for a little writing exercise/competition that Ann over at Devotion House held on her website. Sadly, I don't know that website is still around, so I decided to post it here, too. The story I'm posting here has changed a bit from the original. Call it a second draft, if you will.
